Unsmoked Cornish Back Bacon from Primrose Herd.

Primrose Herd pigs are genuinely free range and are traditionally farmed heritage rare breeds including Large Blacks and Cornish Lops. The pigs have access to grassy paddocks and straw filled pig arks with space to root, wallow and snooze under hedgerows. This slow rearing method produces delicious pork with a rich flavour and good meat to fat ratio.

Back bacon is the loin from larger pigs and the leanest of all the bacon cuts.
Our bacon is dry cured for 14 days and has just enough fat for flavour. Rind on and medium thickness to give you proper bacon that crisps in the pan.

Each pack contains approximately 5 to 6 rashers.
