Cornish fish is rightly regarded as some of the best in the world. Fishing in the clear waters of the Atlantic the Cornish fishing industry has a long and renowned history. Much of the fleet is made up of small day boats fishing the inshore waters and landing premium sustainable wild-caught fish.
Our fish boxes are expertly prepared for each order by our fishmonger Matthew Stevens. The fish is bought directly from boats landing in St Ives or from the Cornish fish markets including the historic Newlyn Harbour. Within hours the fish will have been prepped and vac packed ready to be sent out with our couriers for overnight chilled delivery to your door. Your fish box will contain a changing selection of fresh fish giving you the very best seasonal Cornish fish.

What will be in my fish box?
Our fish boxes are completely seasonal so you get fresh fish when it is at its very best. Until the fish has been landed we simply don’t know what will be in your box that week – we simply select from the finest of the day's catch ensuring you always get a fantastic selection of Cornish fish and seafood.

How is the fish prepared?
The fish preparation does depend on what is included. There will normally be fillets of fish such as hake or haddock, but whole flat fish and Cornish seafood such as crab can also be included.
What are your order deadlines?
We have a 3-day lead time on our orders. All our fish is bought and prepped specifically for each order so you can be sure your fish is completely fresh when it arrives with you.
How can I be sure my fish will arrive chilled?
We use innovative and completely recyclable or reusable packaging designed to keep your order chilled and in prime condition for at least 48 hours after dispatch. Over 99.8% of all our orders arrive the next day less than 24 hours after we dispatch them.
Can my order be frozen?
The fish we send you will be fresh and therefore suitable for home freezing. On very rare occasions we may have to fulfil our orders with frozen fish due to extreme weather conditions meaning boats are unable to fish off the Cornish coast.
How is the fish packaged for delivery?
Our fish comes vacuum-packed to ensure it remains in prime condition using the minimum amount of plastic packaging possible. Our delivery boxes use innovative paper-based insulated packaging combined with reusable ice blocks which will keep your fish in top condition for a minimum of 48 hours.
Where do you deliver to?
We deliver all over the UK from Wednesday through to Sunday each week. The Highlands and Islands can be delivered to by arrangement as courier charges and delivery times vary. Please contact us on 01872 211533 to arrange delivery to these areas.
I am ordering for a special occasion. Can you guarantee my fish will be with me on time?
We dispatch your order to arrive on the delivery day you selected on checkout. However, on rare occasions there can be delays on the courier network due to weather or other issues so we do not guarantee the delivery day and cannot provide refunds or replacements for delayed deliveries unless the quality of the product has been compromised.
You can upgrade your delivery on checkout to a before 12 delivery but if your order is for a special occasion we would recommend ordering your delivery to arrive the day before in case of any courier issues.
