Cornish Dover Sole - Pan Ready
The king of the soles, this superb fish has inspired many classic dishes such as poached sole bone femme, sole Veronique and sole a la meunière.
With a dark brown skin and a long and narrower shaped body than other flatfish. Dover sole has crisp white flesh, firm to touch, with an almost sweet taste.
Dover Sole is an oval-shaped flatfish which we highly rate for their fabulous taste and texture.
Thanks to a successful sole recovery plan sole population are healthy in the Cornish waters. Cook whole in a hot pan or under a grill for 6 minutes on each side.
Dovers are landed by our boats all year round but are at their best from May to June.

Once opened eat immediately.
Fish can be frozen upon delivery and should be used within 3 months. Defrost in the fridge thoroughly before cooking
If you are having fish and seafood delivered outside of Cornwall on a Wednesday your delivery will be delayed by one day due to availability.
