We started the Cornish Food Box Company with the very simple aim of making it as easy as possible for people to buy Cornish food and drink. You choose what you want to order, we pack and deliver it to your door – it really is that simple!

We sell food we can feel good about - to us that means grass-fed, free range meat and poultry, sustainably caught fish and seafood, and veg grown just down the road from producers we know. Our food has been grown, reared, caught or made here in Cornwall so it's completely seasonal, and we can tell you exactly where it is from and how it was produced. We have added some produce that isn't grown here in Cornwall but are sourced from local companies so you can do a complete fresh shop with us. This means we are able to supply fruit and salad throughout the year, as well as a greater range of organic veg, fruit and organic dairy year round.

Today we work with more than 250 local producers and farmers. We like to think of ourselves as a Cornish supermarket (but with the ethics you want) – somewhere you can order your food shopping, and know we provide a service you can rely on. We’re never going to be able to compete with the supermarkets on lots of their range, but if you’re looking for quality, fresh, free-range products that come from Cornish farmers & fishermen, fantastic bakers and makers then we can’t be beaten.

Our relationships with small growers and makers, as well as well known bigger local brands you love, mean we have a unique and exciting range. Whether you're looking for a day to day grocery shop, or something more decadent for your holiday or special occasion, we can deliver everything to your door.

The business was started in a tiny shop on the outskirts of Truro city centre. We sold our shop and cafe in Truro in 2020 during the pandemic and are now solely focused on food delivery from our warehouse in Redruth.  We delivered to one person in our first week and we’ve grown the business from there through sheer hard work, great staff, wonderful customers and brilliant produce. 

We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved so far but there’s plenty more to come so watch this space!
