This hamper brings together three of Cornwall's best-loved cheeses with a jar of rillette, two packs of Duchy Charcuterie cured meats and marinated olives, plus Furniss biscuits and a jar of Cornish chutney. Cornish Blue (175g): sweet, creamy and gentle, a blue even non-blue fans enjoy
Miss Wenna Brie (165g): soft, buttery and mild
Nettle Yarg (150g): Cornwall's famous cheese, hand-wrapped in nettle leaves
The charcuterie:
Cornish Charcuterie Rillette (110g jar): slow-cooked, tender and spreadable, lovely on a biscuit with a dab of chutney
Duchy Charcuterie Sliced Salami or Cured Meats (50g) x2: ready to eat, with the selection varying depending on what's available
Marinated Olives (50g): a little something to nibble alongside

How is it different from the Cornish Deli & Cheese Gift Hamper?
The Deli & Cheese Hamper (£45) has two cheeses, rillette and one pack of chorizo. The Cheese & Charcuterie Hamper (£65) adds Nettle Yarg, a second pack of cured meats and marinated olives, for a bigger board.

Cornish cheese is so highly regarded because of the quality of the grazing. Cornwall has an especially temperate climate which extends the grass growing season. The abundance of grass means that cows produce milk with the highest percentage butterfat content in England and Wales. A high level of carotene is also found in the grass which contributions to its rich buttery colour. Added to this is the diverse range of grasses and herbs that many of the herd graze on - all contributing to the rich creamy milk that goes in to making the cheeses.
