Our Cornish Grass-Fed Roast Beef (Sliced) is beautifully tender, slow-roasted and expertly sliced for convenience without compromising on quality. Made from high welfare, free range, rare breed Cornish beef raised on lush pasture, this roast beef delivers deep, savoury flavour and natural succulence in every bite.
All of our beef is freshly prepared for each order by our trusted butcher and grazier James Kittow of Fowey. We have worked closely with James and our farmers for many years and are proud to know them personally, ensuring full traceability, traditional farming methods and consistently exceptional standards.
Perfect for sandwiches, grazing platters or effortless family meals, this sliced roast beef pairs beautifully with crusty sourdough, horseradish cream and fresh rocket. It also works wonderfully in a warm roast beef baguette with caramelised onions and melted cheddar for a comforting, flavour-packed lunch.
Our meat is freshly prepared for every order and is suitable for home freezing. It is delivered in paper-based packaging designed for chilled goods for up to 48 hours and is suitable for kerbside home recycling or composting.

All the meat we sell is reared in Cornwall and comes from farmers and butchers we trust and work closely with. Our meat is free range and grass fed as nature intended. The combination of rare breeds, high welfare standards, natural grazing and craft butchery combines to produce highly sustainable meat that we are proud to sell. Livestock farming is an integral part of environmentally friendly food production with rotation of grazing herds and arable farming creating a traditional mixed farming that nurtures soils.
Our pork comes from Primrose Herd, a family run rare breed pig farm with their own craft butchery. Bill & Sally produce some of Cornwall's finest pork from pigs that enjoy the outdoors with the freedom to wallow, sunbathe and root around as nature intended. They make a range of products including their own sausages and traditional Hog's Pudding. This is how pigs should be raised and it shows in the depth of flavour and the texture of the pork.
We consistently get rave reviews for our free-range chicken which is reared by Keith Wickett at Marsh Green farm near Bude. Keith's chickens are much slower growing than those you find in a supermarket. Raised in small flocks with access during the day to grassy paddocks and comfortable small houses to keep them safe at night. This is a world away from industrial chicken production with fast growing breeds who are often packed in houses with up to 40,000 birds. You will find very little water oozing from our chicken, and the texture and flavour is what keeps customers returning again and again.
James Kittows butchers is a family run affair with James grazing his own his pedigree herd of Red Rubies on the family farm and purchasing other beef cattle and lamb from carefully selected local farms. The Kittows have been farming beef since 1880 and James is a Master Butcher from a long line of Master Butchers who has won multiple awards. He supplies us with a wide range of fresh beef and lamb cuts.
Free Range Meat Delivery FAQs
What are your order deadlines?
We have a 3-day lead time on our orders. All our fish is bought and prepped specifically for each order so you can be sure your fish is completely fresh when it arrives with you.
How can I be sure my meat will arrive chilled?
We use innovative and completely recyclable or reusable packaging designed to keep your order chilled and in prime condition for at least 48 hours after dispatch. Over 99.8% of all our orders arrive the next day less than 24 hours after we dispatch them.
Can my order be frozen?
The meat we send you will be fresh and therefore suitable for home freezing. Very rarely for late orders we may have to send frozen items - if this is the case you will always be informed in advance of your order being dispatched.
How is the meat packaged for delivery?
Our meat comes either vacuum-packed or packed in trays to ensure it remains in prime condition using the minimum amount of plastic packaging as possible. Our delivery boxes use innovative paper-based insulated packaging combined with reusable ice blocks which will keep your fish in top condition for a minimum of 48 hours.
Where do you deliver to?
We deliver all over the UK from Wednesday through to Sunday each week. The Highlands and Islands can be delivered to by arrangement as courier charges and delivery times vary. Please contact us on 01872 211533 to arrange delivery to these areas.
I am ordering for a special occasion. Can you guarantee my order will be with me on time?
We dispatch your order to arrive on the delivery day you selected on checkout. However, on rare occasions there can be delays on the courier network due to weather or other issues so we do not guarantee the delivery day and cannot provide refunds or replacements for delayed deliveries unless the quality of the product has been compromised.
