Mini Cornish Fish Box

Fresh seasonal fish boxes containing prepared fillets of fish and/or whole fish.

Normally contains 2 fillets approx 330g of fresh fish such as haddock, ling, or cod but could also contain fillets or whole flat fish or oily fish such as mackerel, or bags of mussels.

Our fish is landed in ports across Cornwall with the vast majority coming from Newlyn and Looe, and is prepared for us by Fal Fish

The fish boxes contain a selection of the catch of the day, generally species such as hake, haddock, whiting or lemon soles, gurnard or mackerel.

We prefer to take fish caught by day boats using static nets or hand-lining, although at times fish will come from local trawlers.

At times of bad weather, poor fishing conditions or extremely high prices Fal Fish will source from outside local ports and the fish boxes could include items such as salmon steaks which will have been prepared here in Cornwall.
